Shopping in dollars from e-commerce sites with Selfin App

Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited has launched a dual currency supported virtual prepaid card service of MasterCard brand in its digital banking app Selfin. With this card, besides money, you can also make purchases in foreign currency at any e-commerce site in the country and abroad. However, in order to transact in foreign currency, the required foreign currency endorsement has to be made in the customer's passport.

The card can be used to transfer funds to any bank account connected to NPSB / EFT / RTGS network and to MasterCard brand cards. Merchant payment, bill and fee payment, e-ticketing and mobile recharge can be done. Money can be brought to this card from any bank's MasterCard, any card of Islami Bank, account and mCash service. Cash can be withdrawn from Islami Bank branches/sub-branches, ATMs/CRMs, agent banking outlets and mCash points. You do not need to have an account with Islami Bank to get this card. This card can be taken only if you have registration in Selfin app. The card was inaugurated on June 22 at a hotel in Dhaka by Islami Bank Managing Director and CEO Muhammad Munirul Maula. Vikas Verma, Chief Operating Officer, MasterCard South Asia, Syed Mohammad Kamal, Country Manager, MasterCard Bangladesh, Mohammad Ali, Chief Risk Officer, Islami Bank and Abul Fayez Mohammad Kamaluddin, Head, Alternative Banking Wing were present on the occasion.
